Nodes are a vital component of the blockchain, they allow it to be decentralized and ensure the integrity of the data. Without nodes, there would be no block and no chain.

One of the key properties that made the Blockchain Technology so appealing to the wider public is that it is decentralized by nature. It is based on the principles of Peer-To-Peer (P2P) network. So the nodes in a Blockchain are nothing but the network stakeholders.
The devices in such nodes are authorized to keep track of the distributed ledger and serve as communication hubs for various network tasks on consensus building. Therefore, the beauty of a P2P network is that anyone can become a full node and thus achieve higher levels of independence and decentralization.
“A blockchain node’s primary job is to confirm the legality of each subsequent batch of network transactions, known as blocks. In addition, allocating a unique identifier to each node in the network helps to distinguish a node from other nodes in the network easily.”..( https://www.blockchain-council.org/)
When a miner seeks to add a new block of transactions to the blockchain, the block broadcasts it to all the nodes in the network. The Legitimacy of a block decides its acceptance or rejection over the network nodes.
The transaction blocks are then saved and stored with its history. This is synchronized and the transaction history is broadcasted and disseminated by nodes to the other nodes in the blockchain.
Nodes are a vital component of the blockchain, they allow it to be decentralized and ensure the integrity of the data. Without nodes, there would be no block and no chain.
A validator approves a transaction at a high level, that has been submitted by a user or blockchain client. A transaction is nothing but a set of data that was submitted to be added to a blockchain and can include anything the blockchain was created to be used for.
Its here that Frequency Chain has come with its innovative validation process. When any process or miner wants to add a new block off transactions to the Frequency chain, the broadcasts are sent to all the nodes in the network. However the node identification mechanism inbuilt qualifies only the nodes operated by Renewable Energy as the valid nodes. This enables the Renewable energy operated nodes (RE-Node) to be the Legit Nodes of a block.
Here the RE-Node can handle a PoW – Proof of Work or PoS – Proof of Stake validation process and in either scenario, the Carbon emission is controlled to ‘Zero’ making Frequency Chain as worlds very first 100% Green Blockchain.
